The Real Origins of Terrorism – Part 1
Breaking the Moral High-ground, and Exposing the Propaganda War Machine. This is a new series written and produced by Simply Seerah which will go through the history of how the Philosophy of Terrorism was introduced into the Muslim world in the 19th and 20th centuries.
If Hitler used Islamophobe’s Logic
There was a time during the so-called “War on Terror,” that it appeared almost anything could be justified to capture or kill a suspected Terrorist. Right Wing Extremists were able to exploit westerners fear for many years to justify some of the most horrendous human rights violations known to man. So one day after listening to yet another new anchor justify the killing of a number of civilians to target a Terrorist, I thought to myself, “If Hitler were alive today, what type of Media Propaganda would he use to justify his mass slaughter of the Jews?” Remember, there were Jews who were fighting back against the Nazis. And of course to the German Government, the Jewish Rebels were also considered “Terrorists.” I wonder if Hitler lived today would he have employed the same “30 civilians or less” rule that the United States hate when targeting terrorists (i.e. that if there are less than 30 civilians that will die in the bombing, that the officer didn’t need to get permission from higher up.)
These comics are made for you to think. That’s all. Please don’t think this in anyway condones Terrorism from Muslim Extremists. I think any murder deserves whatever comes to them. But…. I will never, never justify killing civilians to capture or kill a suspected Terrorist. Never. And neither should the civilized world.
Terrorism isn’t always what it Seems
This comic was made to make the viewer think. People in the West tend to view conventional weapons of war as a somewhat cleaner and more civilized way of killing. But that isn’t how the families of their bombs and missiles feel. Their mothers, daughters and sons cry just the same, be it from the suicide bomber or an F16 or Drone.
Terrorism in the Bible
This video gives a depiction of the main wars that had taken place in the Bible. It covers wars and battles conducted by Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Saul and then finally David. The main reason for this video is the constant attacks Muslims receive about the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his moral Character. To Christians Apologists and Islamophobes, they believe that since the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) fought wars that makes him morally corrupt and therefore nullifies his status of prophethood. Yet if we were to remain consistent in this thinking, one could easily turn this logic against the Christian by mentioning the wars that took place in the Old Testament.
Of course you can rest assure that the Christian will try to brush off the horrors found in their Bible by saying it was in the past, and it predated Jesus. But be that as it may, if Jesus is considered a part of the Godhead of the Trinity, and the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one, then that means that all three took part in the War commands of the Old Testament. So when Yahweh ordered Moses and Joshua to go raiding into Canaan, Jesus was also a part of the Godhead that was giving the orders. (according to Trinitarians.)
So when Christians attack the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) for simply taking part in Wars and defending himself, know that they are complete hypocrites. And if the only reason for being right and wrong is proceeding Jesus’ coming to earth, then Muslims are inclined to ask,
“Okay so if we were to place the story of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) between the time of Moses and David, you’re telling me that then you wouldn’t have a problem with with the wars he fought?”
Really Christians ask yourself, is this being Theologically consistent? Is right and wrong just based on which time in history it is done? And if you were being truthful with yourselves, when you try to claim that the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was evil for fighting wars, are you not in a sense also calling your own God Yahweh evil as well?
I end with noting that unlike the Old Testament, in Islam the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) forbade Muslims from killing women, children and the elderly. He also forbade raping and torturing his captives (despite what Islamaphobic Preachers try to tell you.) So the fact of the matter is if we were being truthful, the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was far more moral than the prophets found in the Old Testament.
And if a Christian argues that their prophets weren’t considered infallible and made mistakes, we as Muslims still are inclined to ask, “Then why do you bring up morality in the first place when you try to disprove the prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh)? If your prophets can do immoral and sinful things, then theologically you shouldn’t be bringing up the subject of morality to test prophethood in the first place.”

Statistical Tables of all the Battles during the Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) lifetime
Over the past 3 weeks I’ve spent a significant amount of time researching through the Biography of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and putting together a number of tables which record the statistics of each battle that took place during his lifetime. This was due to a number of articles written by Islamaphobes which depicted the Battles of the Muslims at that time as if they were monstrous massacres numbering in the hundreds of thousands. This insinuation for anyone that knows Islamic History and the population statistics of that time would find these grossly exaggerated claims quite amusing.
It should be known that the tribes in the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century were not very large, and usually consisted of only a few hundred people. At the time the Quraish, which were considered one of the largest tribes in Arabia, could only muster around 3000 from their own tribe to fight during the Battle of Uhud. So if you were to take that number of 3000 and factor in the Women, Children and Elderly (which collectively is about 3x the number of Males) then one could estimate that the whole population of Meccah didn’t exceed 10,000 people.
So with that in mind let me present to you the results of my findings. First off I suggest you quickly glance over this key I made that will help you understand the tables I made better.
You will more in likely need to glance back and forth to this key to get an idea of the estimated results. I hope that these charts will help shed light in just how low the casualty numbers really were during the Battles of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). So without further or do let us take a glance of the Tables I’ve put together. Keep in mind that these tables start from Year 1 After Hijrah and span all the way until the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) passes away in year 11.

To conclude as you see the numbers are nowhere as high as many Islamaphobes make them out to be. Even though the Battles during the prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) lifetime were very significant and important, they were for the most part had very small casualty figures. This is due to the fact that war in the 7th century mainly consisted of weapons that when used injured but not kill. Usually when men got struck in the arm or side with a spear they would stop fighting and retreat so that they could fight another day.
Also, even in very large scale battles, usually the numbers of dead from any army wouldn’t exceed 10% before the men would give up and retreat. Rarely in the Arabian Peninsula wars, and never during the prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) time, was there an all out massacre in Battle.
So I hope this shed light on the reality of this issue and will help refute the Islamaphobes false claims that Muslims massacred Tens of thousands of people. This just simply wasn’t the case.
